With extensive experience in both public and private accounting, Michael Monahan is a member of the firm’s Executive Board. His industry experience includes technology and media, life sciences, consumer, and manufacturing and distribution. Michael has served as audit partner and, more recently, as an advisor to business owners and management of private and public companies who are seeking guidance on acquisitions, divestitures and raising capital. He has also provided advisory services for several initial public offerings.

Donald J. Abrams

Don is the former CFO, treasurer, and secretary at the Population Council where he served for almost two decades. During his tenure, Abrams revamped budgeting and reporting processes, directed the organization’s transition to computers, and oversaw the investment management and policies for its endowment fund during a period of strong growth. Prior to joining the nonprofit sector, he held financial positions at Bristol-Myers and Merck. He is an independent consultant and sits on several boards of directors in both New York and Florida. Abrams has an MBA in finance from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business and a BA in economics from Queens College.  He resides in Plainview, NY and has proudly been on the FCA board for 42-years.
