Community Matters.
In July 2025, FCA’s outpatient clinic, The Family Treatment and Recovery Center, earned a designation as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). CCBHCs are designed to provide clients with easy access to integrated health services. As a component of this advanced programming, FCA has formed a Community Advisory Board composed of clients, staff, and partners.
2025 Community Advisory Board Outcomes
- EImplemented Same-Day Access, allowing walk-in appointments to increase access to services
- EDesigned a CCBHC Service Menu to advertise the wide array of services available
- EIntroduced diverse modalities, including Art Therapy, Animal-Assisted Therapy, Marriage and Family Therapy, along with health testing services
- EAdded new positions to expand and enhance service delivery
- 9Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services for vocational and skill-building support
- 9Transportation Specialist role to assist clients in accessing treatment and navigating transportation options
- 9Veterans Outreach Navigator to provide case management services, connect veterans and their families to community resources, and promote FCA’s diverse services
