HIV, Hepatitis C (HCV) & STI Testing and Navigation
A partner of the Nassau County Regional Prevention and Support Services Initiative (RPSSI) funded by the NYS Department of Health AIDS Institute. System navigation services provided in Nassau County. Testing & navigation services offered in Suffolk County.
Our Program
The goal is to address the intersections between substance use and sexual health to promote healthier person-centered practices that reduce risk of transmission of infectious diseases and overdose by educating and empowering the Long Island community with knowledge and access to resources.
Services
FCA offers confidential services free of charge and provides:
- Onsite and mobile HIV, HCV, syphilis, gonorrhea, & chlamydia testing in Suffolk County
- Seeking Safety intervention for individuals and linkage to HIV/HCV/STI testing services in Nassau County
- Linkage to substance use and mental health services, including FCA Sherpa Peer Services
- Short-term case management for various issues (i.e., housing, employment, transportation to medical appointments, food insecurity, etc.)
- Warm hand-off to harm reduction services, safe sex practices, Naloxone (NARCAN), fentanyl and xylazine testing strips, and linkage to syringe access program
Eligibility
- Any adult age 18+ who is interested in the above services, including people who are sexually active and/or use substances
