Hempstead Prevention Coalition
The Hempstead Prevention Coalition (HPC) connects the most influential & trusted voices in & around the Village of Hempstead to focus on the reduction of substance use, with a primary focus on reducing youth substance use in the Village of Hempstead community
HPC is currently comprised of over 50 dedicated member organizations that represent the 12 sectors of community. HPC membership is available to:

Reducing Substance Use - Youth

HPC aligns the implementation of Youth-Led Prevention Leadership Programs, School & Parent Prevention Trainings, and Community-Based Substance Use Prevention Initiatives to the Strategic Prevention Framework & the 7 Strategies for Community Change established by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA) & the Community-Based Advocacy-Focused Data-Driven Coalition-Building Association (CADCA).
