Whether you’re an individual or part of an organization, your support can truly make an impact in the lives of those who need it most.
There are so many ways you can volunteer with FCA. You can participate in one of our specially designed events OR organize a donation drive on our behalf.
You’ll find a month-by-month breakdown of dates and specific needs below.

NOVEMBER – NATIONAL RUNAWAY & HOMELESS YOUTH AWARENESS
Volunteer Opportunities
- Date TBD – Runaway & Homeless Youth Awareness Walk – Come raise awareness and support FCA’s programs by joining us in a walk.
- Tuesday, November 18th – 12-1pm – Assemble hygienic kits for our residential clients.
Donation Drive idea
Collect travel size hygienic items such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, hair ties, hair brushes, etc.
DECEMBER – ADOPT A FAMILY

- Saturday, December 6th- 9am – 12pm – Come help collect and organize holiday gifts for families in FCA’s programs.

Consider donating or collecting gift cards in small denominations—every contribution brings comfort and joy to families in need.

Our headquarters are in Garden City, with additional locations across Nassau and Suffolk County.
When can I volunteer?
We have volunteer opportunities Monday-Friday, and the occasional weekend opportunity.
