Mahendra Jagmohan
VP & Chief Financial Officer
Mahendra Jagmohan is a seasoned Certified Public Accountant with more than 35 years of experience guiding complex financial operations within one of the nation’s largest healthcare systems, Mount Sinai Health System. Over the course of his career, he built a reputation as a trusted strategic partner—someone who understands not just the numbers, but how financial strategy supports long‑term organizational growth. His work has consistently focused on strengthening financial governance, improving transparency, and delivering operational excellence across large, multi‑entity environments.
After earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Lehman College (CUNY), Mahendra began his career at Mount Sinai immediately after graduation. Through dedication, deep technical expertise, and steady leadership, he rose through the organization from Staff Accountant to Vice President of Finance. Along the way, he oversaw audits, tax filings, budgets, forecasts, and complex consolidated financial reporting for numerous affiliated entities. He also played a key role in Mount Sinai’s expansion through mergers and affiliations, leading financial integration efforts and helping standardize processes across newly combined organizations. In addition, he served as the financial lead on a multi‑year ERP transformation, guiding the transition from several legacy systems to a unified Oracle Cloud platform and working closely with executive leadership, consultants, and IT teams to ensure success.
Outside of work, Mahendra has been a proud resident of Valley Stream for over 25 years, where he values time spent with family and friends. He is passionate about staying active and enjoys running and going to the gym. An active New York Road Runners member, he has completed ten New York City Marathons and approximately 25 half‑marathons—a reflection of the discipline and commitment he brings both personally and professionally.
