SNUG- Gun Violence Reduction

It’s time to disrupt the cycle of gun violence in our most vulnerable communities.

Our Program

SNUG, "guns" spelled backwards, is an evidence-based violence SNUG.jpgreduction initiative.

We work with community residents, businesses and community-based organizations to reduce and prevent shootings and killings.

FCA works in collaborative partnerships within the Village of Hempstead which include faith leaders and community leaders.  We rely on outreach workers to intervene in conflicts and promote alternatives to violence.

SNUG utilizes credible messengers to work side by side with those community members who are now seeking a fresh start.
