Our Consumer Advisory Board met on 6/29/2023. This was the second meeting of our Board, and we reviewed the Community Needs Assessment we completed in March. We discussed racial, housing and income disparities in the communities we serve; barriers to accessing services; and the role stigma and cultural factors play when deciding to seek mental health and substance use services. The Board will work to identify steps we can take to help improve access to and willingness to engage in services.
