Garden City, N.Y., April 26, 2023 – Family & Children’s Association (FCA) has been announced as the winner of the 2023 “Fan Favorite” Prize at the 2023 Long Island Imagine Awards. FCA received a record 10,856 votes in an online poll over the course of the month of March. This was the largest vote total registered by any organization in the 11-year history of this competition. Twenty four (24) nonprofit organizations from across Long Island were finalists in this prestigious competition.
FCA’s President/CEO, Dr. Jeffrey Reynolds was on hand to receive the awards, which was sponsored by Nerds That Care. He was presented with a crystal trophy and a check for $3,000 to aid FCA in its mission to strengthen Long Island’s most vulnerable citizens.
