Jun 2, 2026 | Press Release

GARDEN CITY, N.Y.  June 2026 – Family & Children’s Association (FCA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kim Barresi to its Board of Trustees.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kim Barresi to FCA’s Board of Trustees,” said Dr. Jeffrey L. Reynolds, President and CEO of Family & Children’s Association. “Kim’s leadership in the legal and financial sectors, combined with her perspective as a parent of young children, give her a unique lens on the needs of Long Island families today.”

Ms. Barresi is a Partner and Co-Chair of the Banking and Commercial Lending Practice Group at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP. Her legal practice focuses on banking and commercial lending, real estate, and environmental law, with a particular emphasis on representing clients in complex commercial real estate and asset-based financing transactions.

Board Chair Drew S. Crowley said, “Kim brings a meaningful, real-world perspective to our mission, understanding firsthand the opportunities and challenges young families face today. I’m excited to welcome her as a trustee and look forward to working together.”

A strong advocate for FCA’s mission, Ms. Barresi has long supported the organization’s efforts to strengthen families and communities across Long Island. She believes that FCA’s programs play a critical role in fostering healthy, resilient families and, ultimately, thriving communities.

“I am honored and excited to join the Board of Trustees,” said Ms. Barresi. “FCA’s work is fundamental to the health and success of families on Long Island. I look forward to contributing to the organization’s continued growth and impact.”

Ms. Barresi resides in Huntington, New York, with her husband and their two young sons. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys spending time with her family, including going on runs together—and, as she notes, “running after them!”
