Jaymie Kahn-Rapp, MPA, MSEd, LMHC
Assistant Vice President, Community Health & Recovery
Jaymie Kahn-Rapp serves as the Assistant Vice President of Community Health and Recovery at Family & Children’s Association (FCA). She joined FCA in 2017, bringing more than two decades of experience in behavioral health, HIV services, and community-based public health programs from New York City. Her transition to Long Island marked the beginning of a new chapter focused on expanding access to prevention services, overdose response initiatives, and recovery supports for individuals affected by substance use in suburban communities.
Since joining FCA, Ms. Kahn-Rapp has developed and led the programs that form the foundation of her division. Under her leadership, FCA’s original Addiction Treatment and Recovery Division more than doubled in size. In 2023, she oversaw its restructuring into two specialized divisions—Clinical Services and Harm Reduction & Recovery—to strengthen service delivery and program focus. The division has since evolved into Community Health and Recovery, reflecting an expanded mission centered on community health initiatives, overdose prevention, infectious disease screening, and recovery support services.
Today, the Community Health and Recovery Division continues to grow with a strong emphasis on peer-based recovery supports, overdose prevention education, and HIV/HCV/STI testing and linkage to care. Through these efforts, the division works to improve community health outcomes, reduce barriers to care, and connect individuals and families to critical health and recovery resources.
Ms. Kahn-Rapp holds a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College and a Master of Science in Education in Rehabilitation Counseling from Hofstra University. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and has held leadership roles across several nonprofit health organizations, with a strong track record in system transformation, Medicaid redesign, and data-driven program development.
At FCA, she remains committed to ensuring that individuals and families across Long Island have equitable access to community-based services, prevention resources, and multiple pathways to recovery.
