Kim Como is an accomplished and strategic communications leader with extensive experience in media and communications. As Chief Communications Officer at FCA, she will lead the development of integrated communications initiatives that enhances FCA’s brand reputation and identity, broaden awareness of FCA’s programs and priorities, and increase FCA’s visibility across key stakeholders.
Prior to joining FCA, Kim built a distinguished career in media, with significant experience at Newsday, Long Island’s daily newspaper. There, she was responsible for creating communications and media strategies for various projects and events, cultivating strong ties with local community leaders and organizations, and managing relationships with both regional and national media outlets. Before her time at Newsday, Kim worked at NBC Universal in the Network News Division, where she was the PR liaison between NBC network news and over 220 affiliate stations across the country. In this role, she supported high-profile news platforms, including Today, Dateline, Nightly News, MSNBC, CNBC, and Meet The Press.
A dynamic communicator, she is passionate about driving transparent and authentic storytelling, fostering a culture of collaboration, and elevating the strategic role of communication within FCA.
Beyond her work, Kim is an amateur photographer, and when she is not working, can often be found with her camera in tow, capturing images of incredible people and places that define this beautiful island we all call home.
She lives with her family in Suffolk County.
