FCA Appoints New AVP of Children’s Mental Health & Wellness

GARDEN CITY, NEW YORK, March 22, 2021 ­– FCA, a leading health and human services nonprofit organization on Long Island, has appointed a new Assistant Vice President of Children’s Mental Health & Wellness. Shari Lubeck, LCSW-R will oversee FCA’s Care Management, Family Center, Mental Health Supportive Services, and Youth & Family Integration (Y-FI) services.

Shari brings over 20 years of experience in program development and oversight to FCA.  She has passionately dedicated herself to working with families and children on Long Island to increase access to quality service provision.  Prior to joining FCA, Shari worked at Beacon Health Options as the Director of Children’s Case Management for New York State.  In this capacity, Shari was responsible for the implementation and oversight of the Children’s Medicaid transition to managed care.  Before her time at Beacon, Shari acted as Director for the Bridges to Health program at Little Flower Children and Family Services.  Throughout her career, Shari has successfully developed and implemented programming utilizing an individualized, strength-based approach to ensure children and families receive quality services that are delivered in flexible settings.

Shari Lubeck is a New York State licensed LCSW-R who holds a Master of Social Work degree from Adelphi University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from SUNY Oneonta.   Shari additionally earned her SIFI certification at New York University in 1998.
