FCA Welcomes Lucinda Das-Mohan As Chief Human Resources Officer

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. (November 2023) – FCA, Long Island’s leading health and human services not-for-profit organization, recently named Lucinda Das-Mohan Chief Human Resources Officer. FCA President and CEO Jeffrey L. Reynolds, Ph.D. made the announcement on behalf of the organization.

“Lucy is a human resources professional of the highest order with extensive experience in the not-for-profit world,” said Reynolds. “We welcome her overall expertise to develop our staff and keep us current on all things pertaining to HR as we continue to expand our services and introduce new programs to best serve an ever growing demand.”

In her new position, Das-Mohan will play a dynamic role in FCA’s strategic plan. Her overarching responsibilities including staff recruitment, development and engagement while maintaining a positive work environment aligned with FCA’s culture and values. Having worked her way up from HR staff to management during her career, Das-Mohan has a deep understanding of and respect for employees at all levels.

“I am looking forward to adding a new dimension to the dynamic at FCA,” said Das-Mohan. “Change is not always easy, but I love working where I can make a difference. Effective communication is critical to making that difference work by not only supporting my team, but the entire organization. My goal is to refine and reinforce the culture and employee relations for the long-term engagement and benefit of the staff. Prior to FCA, Das-Mohan served as Vice President of Human Resources at Community Development Corporation of Long Island (CDCLI), where she shepherded that organization through the challenges of COVID, in large part by keeping an open line of communication with the team and ensuring teammates of all age groups and backgrounds felt confident in the success of their mission despite the setbacks COVID created. Before her time at CDCLI, Das-Mohan was a Human Resource Manager at Auriemma Roundtables. She is a proud first-generation graduate of Long Island University, where she received her MBA in Human Resources Management and Services.

Das-Mohan lives with her family in Nassau County.
