GARDEN CITY, N.Y. (June 2023) – It was a perfect day for a round of golf, and a stellar day for FCA, a leading health and human services not-for-profit organization on Long Island, to raise funds to support its mission and programs during its annual golf outing. Held this year at the Meadow Brook Club in Jericho, New York, the outing was a sell-out, with 130 golfers representing 33 foursomes in attendance. Between golfers, sponsors and raffles, the event raised in excess of $140,000 dollars. The funds raised will support FCA’s dozens of programs that protect and benefit vulnerable Long Islanders of all ages.
FCA President and CEO Dr. Jeffrey L. Reynolds expressed his gratitude to the field of golfers and supporters who attended the dinner, as well as all who volunteered to make the day such a rousing success. “It’s especially sweet when spectacular weather coincides with such a beautiful display of generosity and support for our less fortunate neighbors.”
Golfer Timothy Pritchard was awarded the prize for Longest Drive (Male) at FCA’s annual golf outing,
